By optimizing the delivery experience for 13.5 million customers. Every day, the company sends thousands of packages and letterbox packages on behalf of 47,000 partners. You directly contribute to fulfilling delivery promises by establishing strategic partnerships with (inter)national delivery services. As a Senior Category Manager Last Mile Delivery, you negotiate sharp deals, analyze data trends, develop cost models, and focus on availability, risk reduction, value enhancement, and cash flow.

Your tasks and responsibilities are:

• Developing, implementing, and adjusting the procurement strategy for the Delivery category;
• Advising and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
• Preparing and executing strategic contract negotiations;
• Managing the largest supplier relationships within the distribution category, in close consultation with the business;
• Translating market data into actionable insights for cost models and negotiations;
• Identifying and realizing improvement opportunities within delivery services;
• Ensuring procurement processes with a focus on strategic and commercial results.

The ideal candidate has:

• Strong negotiation skills combined with strategic insight and commercial acumen;
• Demonstrable experience in companies with a logistical component (retailers or logistics service providers), or on the other side of the negotiation table (sales/account management);
• Thorough knowledge of commercial, financial, and legal aspects of procurement;
• Strong networking skills and advisory capabilities; easily interacts at various levels within the organization;
• Experience with logistical and supply chain processes is a plus;
• Experience leading negotiation processes valued at over €100 million.

• Hybrid working: two fixed office days (Tuesday and Thursday), the rest can be remote.
