For an international e-commerce organization, we are seeking an experienced program manager to work alongside the legal counsel in order to obtain member institution status from large payment platforms, as well as establish the neccesary legal entities within a strictly regulated industry.

Responsibilities: Regulatory Program Manager (TEMP)
- Serving as the primary project coordinator for the regulatory licensing application and operational implementation;
- Managing communication and collaboration among legal advisors, internal teams, and regulatory bodies;
- Create and oversee project timelines, plans, and risk management strategies throughout the licensing journey;
- Guarantee the punctuality, thoroughness, and consistency of all documentation and submissions;
- Lead conversations focused on compliance frameworks, governance, and organizational structure;
- Keep founders and sponsors informed about project status, challenges, and regulatory interactions;
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance licensing efficiency and stakeholder alignment.
Requirements: Regulatory Program Manager (TEMP)
In order to succeed in this role, we ask that you have:
- Previous experience working within a credit card company or acquiring bank;
- Experience establishing a payment processing relationship (becoming a member institution);
- Strong stakeholder and project management experience with the ability to coordinate with legal team, international HQ, and regulators;
- Experience setting up financial entities within heavily regulated industries;
- Fluent in English required, Dutch preferred.

For this assignment, we can offer either a freelance arrangement or a temporary flex contract. While this is a temporary, project-based role, there is a chance that it will evolve into a full-time role where you will be responsible for the regulated entity. Rate, salary, and further benefits will be discussed in the interview process.
